Under the collaboration of Kashiwa City and Kashiwa International Relations　Association、 Kashiwanoha International Exchange Lounge (hereafter called “the Lounge”) has been supporting foreign residents living in Kashiwa including the Kashiwanoha area by supplying various kinds of information, consultation services and providing Japanese and foreign language classes.

Furthermore, the Lounge has also provided exchange meetings between Japanese citizens and foreign residents to deepen mutual understanding between these groups in order to promote co-existing societies.

We, the Lounge staff are doing our best to make ｔhe Lounge a place where people can get together in a cheerful and at-home atmosphere. We look forward to having you at the Lounge.

■ Program Office of the “International Exchange in Japanese! Program”

The “International Exchange in Japanese! Program” was designed to promote one-to-one exchanges in Japanese between foreign students and researchers at the Universities and Research Institutes in Kashiwa City and neighboring areas and Japanese volunteers living or serving in the community.

Kashiwanoha International Exchange Lounge serves as the Program’s Office by accepting registrations, matching participants, arranging the first meeting between participants, and providing advisory services for the on-going exchange.
