Japanese Language Class

KCC Japanese Class

KCC offers Japanese language classes for foreign residents to learn the Japanese needed for daily life.
Classes range from beginner level for those who cannot speak Japanese at all, to intermediate level for those who wish to improve their skills.
Please join the class that matches your Japanese level.

1. Fees
Tuition is free.
Textbooks: Each class uses specific textbooks. Please purchase the textbook as instructed by your teacher.

2. Classrooms
There are three classrooms: Kashiwa, Shonan, and Kashiwanoha.
Class schedules and content differ by location.
Please choose the classroom that best fits your schedule.

Besides regular classes, KCC also offers the following activities:

Extracurricular Learning
We conduct annual field trips to deepen交流 among participants.

Japanese Speech Presentation
Every year, we hold a Japanese speech presentation event where learners can showcase their progress.
Records of these events are available on the Kashiwa International Relations Association (KIRA) website.

・ People who live in Kashiwa City
・People who work in Kashiwa City
・People who attend a school in Kashiwa City (any of these is OK)
・After completing the course, those who can participate in international exchange activities in Kashiwa City

[Requirements for Online Classes]
・You need a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
・Classes use an application called “ZOOM.”
・Please download ZOOM from the link below:

[How to apply]
・Choose a class.
・Fill out the application form and submit it to the KCC office, or send it by email to boshu-2@kira-kira.jp.
